Besides the festival you will also visit Khor Virap, Noravank, wine shops and of course “Ararat Brandy” factory, which officially known as the Yerevan “Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka” factory. When you arrive, we will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Yerevan. After a short rest in the hotel, you will take part in the festival. Spend wine day in Yerevan. The “Areni Festival Fund” invites you to take part in the “Yerevan Wine Days” two day events. The program will be held on Saryan Street, where the representatives of the 15 most prominent Armenian wineries will offer their products, and the corresponding dishes with these wines will be offered by the renowned local restaurateurs. In the evening you will visit “Golden Grape Armas” wine shop, where the aspects of joyful and meaningful living come together - history, culture, celebrations, and achievements.
The day will begin with a breakfast at the hotel, followed by tour to the south of Armenia. Tour begins with a trip through the Ararat Valley to the monastery of Khor Virap. Its history is related to the adoption of Christianity in Armenia. It offers the most spectacular view of Mount Ararat. Then you visit the Noravank monastery, surrounded by picturesque red cliffs and beautiful landscapes. Next, you visit the nearby Areni wine region, where you participate in tasting local wines and have an excursion at a wine factory. You also visit the world famous cave, where during the excavations the oldest shoe and winery in the world were found. They date back over 5500 years. Return to Yerevan. Free evening.
Your trip starts with a city-tour around Yerevan. First of all, you will be able to enjoy an amazing view to Yerevan and Mount Ararat from the observation area in the Victory Park. The excursion will continue to the Cascade – the favorite place of Yerevan residents. The Cascade is a huge staircase that connects the city center with the residential area. Downstairs, you will see the unique sculptures, belonging to the world famous foreign sculptors. Next, you will pass through the main street of the city. Here you see the building of the Opera and Ballet Theatre, several central streets, and the Republic Square – the “heart” of the capital and more. Then you will visit “Ararat Brandy” factory, officially known as the Yerevan “Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka” factory. The products of “Ararat” factory are exported to many countries of the CIS and Europe, as well as the United States and Australia. Transfer to the airport. Warm farewell departure.
